Meet Our Team
Whenever you need to make or reschedule an appointment, pay a bill or ask a question regarding your visit, our office coordinators are ready to help. If you have any concerns about what dental services your insurance will cover, you can talk to us in advance to ensure there are no surprises down the line. We can even discuss payment plans to help you get the care you need as soon as possible.
I am a Northwest native, born in Snoqualmie, and have lived in Renton for most of my life. I have been working at Dr. Yang’s practice since 2006. I enjoy helping our patients live happy and healthy lives by genuinely caring and discussing any questions regarding dental treatment, billing, and insurance benefits.
Together with Lee, we have 4 daughters and 7 grandchildren. When not traveling, working or snuggling grandchildren, we enjoy spending time in Eastern Washington with family and friends. At home, my passion is cooking, gardening, walking and hot yoga.
Originally from Tacoma, I now reside in East Renton. I have been working in the dental field since 1990 and joined Dr. Yang’s practice in 2007. I enjoy building personal relationships with our patients and getting to know more about them each time they come in. Assisting patients with their financial arrangements, treatment planning, and scheduling are my specialties.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 children, sipping Starbucks, and cheering for my Seahawks.
We will be at your side along with the dentist during your office visit. It is our job to make sure you are comfortable throughout your visit and ensure everything goes smoothly. We fully prepare the room and have everything ready. We also assist during the procedure to ensure your dental work is completed as thoroughly, efficiently, and safely as possible.
Dentistry is the perfect career for me because I love to learn new things and getting to know people. I graduated from Highline Community College and went to Pima Medial Institute for dental training. I have been working as a dental assistant since 1998 and have been with Dr. Yang’s practice since 2007. Regular dental continuing education courses keep me current with the latest dental technologies and treatments to provide the best care and comfort for our patients. Patients often say that my easy-going attitude makes them feel relaxed and helps them overcome dental anxiety. I often exchange recipes, books, and jokes with my patients as if they were extended family.
At home, I care for my husband and three kids. As for my other passions, I remain active with church, baking, sewing, crafting, and playing in several softball leagues.
I graduated from Pima Medical Institute in Seattle and have been working in the dental field for more than 20 years. My favorite thing about dentistry is helping with a difficult procedure, making it go smoothly, and earning the patient’s trust and smile. Completing the treatment is only half the journey; making the patient feel calm, comfortable, and safe is also important to me. I strongly believe in providing patients with the utmost of care and compassion while sharing tips and tools to maintain dental health between visits.
Outside the office, I’m usually golfing, camping, or tending to my 3 rescue dogs (my favorite breed is the Chihuahua). Rounding out our pack are my hubby, grandmother, daughter, and nephews.
I decided to pursue a career in dentistry after enjoying a transformative dental experience as a teenager. I used to be nervous about smiling because I didn’t like the way my teeth looked; but regular visits to my dentists and months of treatment with an orthodontist gave me the smile I always dreamed of. I loved how the doctors, hygienists and assistants worked together as a team to make me feel as comfortable as possible every step of the way. In 2005, I graduated from Renton Technical College as a Certified Dental Assistant. When I’m not assisting Dr. Yang and Dr. Tsukamoto, I am at the front office helping patients with schedules and insurance questions.
I am pursuing my BA to further my dental education and hope to become a Dental Hygienist. During my downtime, you will either find me outside rain or shine, cheering on the Seahawks, or binge watching reality TV shows.
Routine dental cleanings are encouraged for our patients as a way to prevent cavities and optimize overall health. Our dental hygienists are ready to make you feel at ease throughout your stay and to help you achieve glowing, natural smiles. We will take X-rays, evaluate your teeth and gums, and provide a thorough dental cleaning with homecare instruction. We can help patients resolve hot and cold sensitivity, tender spots, and/or general dental anxiety so they can feel more comfortable throughout the visit.
In 2018, I celebrated my tenth year in dentistry. I started off as a hygiene assistant and sterilization tech and worked my way through Lake Washington Technical College where I graduated with a dental Hygiene Degree in 2012. I enjoy getting to know and building trusting relationships with my patients. Seeing the dentist might not be a favorite activity for most people, so I strive to make each dental visit and cleaning as gentle and comfortable as possible.
Outside the office, you will find me reading, cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
I knew from a young age that I wanted to make a career in helping people smile. I found dental hygiene to be the perfect path. I graduated with honors from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and a minor in Health Sciences. I joined Dr. Yang’s practice in 2010. I value giving a gentle yet thorough cleaning, and my goal is a comprehensive, holistic approach to maintaining your overall health.
Beyond the office, I am married to my high school sweetheart; we have two boys and a Boston Terrier. During the summer, we spend as much time as possible at our family lake house in Wenatchee.
I graduated from Eastern Washington University Dental Hygiene program in 2000. Ever since, I have been working for both general family dental practices and periodontal dental offices specializing in treating gum diseases. No matter what issues a patient presents us with, we can work to make things better. I am always optimistic not only that a solution is close at hand, but that I can make the patient as comfortable as possible during the hygiene process.
In my free time, my husband and I stay busy with our continually growing combined clan of 9 children and 3 grandchildren. I love to spend time outdoors gardening, hiking and kayaking. On indoor days, you will find me reading, cooking, and completing home projects.
